Part 2. How Do I Use Emochi to Chat?

If you want to use the Emochi web platform to immerse yourself in conversations with AI characters, here's what you need to know:

Step 1. Signup to Emochi

To use Emochi, you first have to visit its web platform and click the Me option to join it. When you tap the Me option, the app takes you straight to the sign-in screen. Here, you can continue using your Google account, or sign in through your Twitter or Discord credentials. There's also an email option if you prefer joining without linking a social account.

Step 2. Configure Your Me Section

Now, the next thing you're going to do is you're going to customize some settings in your profile section. For this, go to the Me section again, and then describe your persona by clicking the Persona icon at the top.

Once you do that, you'll see a plus icon below to add your persona.

Tap the + icon and then select from the different personas you see in a row. Select one that you like the most and click Use.

Now, you can edit the name, the gender, and describe your persona in detail within 3000 characters. Tap Save, and then Confirm, and it will be saved to your persona account.

So whenever you want to engage in a chat, you can add and select any of these personas from the Me section. When you click Confirm to choose one, the conversations and interactions behave according to that persona. You can also select a persona and edit to change the details, or if you don't want to use it anymore, you can also delete it.

Just beside the Persona option, you'll see a Model option where you can select different model styles.

It shows the one you are already using for the chat, but if you don't like the responses, you can select from different ones like Matcha, Strawberry, or whatever you like. Each one of these models has some specifications under it for the type of responses you're going to see. For example, in Peach, it chats with closeness and has better chemistry and realism as well. So you can select one according to your needs, click Use to apply it.

Step 3. Start Chatting with Your AI Bot

After customizing the Me section, tap on any character showing on the main screen. You also see many categories, such as novel, male, female, anime and game, rebellious, drama, original character, family, not lover, romance, gold, and fast fantasy. If you are not sure which one to choose, you can use the search bar to find a bot based on your preferences and style.

If you like an AI character, hover over it and click the Chat Now option. Once you do that, a new chat box opens where you can start chatting based on your persona and the model you selected in the Me section.

You will also notice that the same AI character shows up in the left menu under your chats. If you tap the three dots next to it, you can pin this chat to the top of the list. If you have multiple AI chatbots, you can click Select to choose one, and you can delete your AI bot from here as well.

If you want to change the model's settings while chatting, there's a menu on the right where you can change the model for free. You can also view the profile of the character and see how many users are using it, along with user responses, to decide if it's worth spending time with. You can replace the alias, and there are options to restart the chat and delete all previous responses. This does not delete the chat history, which you can still access. If you don't like the background, you can change the background setting as well, but this feature is not yet available at the time of this writing.

Like many other AI tools, you can regenerate responses to get something new. You can do this as many times as you like until you get a reply that you like the most and want to engage with further.

In case of raw and explicit responses, you can click the three horizontal lines at the bottom, then click Settings, and select Content Settings from the list. Toggle on Allow Sensitive Content. As soon as you do this, you'll notice a shift in responses that are somewhat NSFW in nature.

Not only that, you can select any language you want to chat with your AI bot from the same settings menu.

Step 4. Using Playground to Chat

There is a Playground section as well in the left menu. When you click it, many story-style AI novels are labeled under different titles, and they cover almost every genre. It is still in the beta phase. As soon as you click on one title, the story mode box opens, and you'll see the whole story and the full context of it.

The best bit about it is that you can type your prompt in the box to inspire the next content to show up. You can suggest anything according to that genre or that novel, and it continues based on your prompts. You can do this until the whole story finishes.

If you don't like the continuity, you can always regenerate.

• Step 1.Go to the Me section again and click Create Character. A box will appear below that gives you two ways to create a character. One is the Quick option, and the other is the Expert mode. It's better to use the expert mode option, because some features are not available in quick mode, and the generation is also better comparatively.

  

• Step 2.After selecting the Expert mode, a whole new box opens up. Here, you can upload a reference image for your AI character to imitate its features. Then you can write a welcome message so that every time you start a chat with it, you see that message on the screen.
